Victoria Lupian

B. 1995

Victoria Lupian is a visual artist who lives in Los Angeles, CA. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley. Upon graduating, the art department unanimously awarded Victoria the Lauren Krikorian Memorial Award for her outstanding educational advocacy, service, and artistic contribution to the UC Berkeley Art Practice Department. Victoria Lupian’s oeuvre stems from her fascination with adopting a rigorous art practice inspired by classical art schools and their training methods. She practices consistently on representational subject matter and approaches her work with traditional aesthetic techniques inspired by atelier institutions. She believes mastering the fundamentals is crucial to creating any art. Therefore, she aspires to be a lifelong learner in her art practice. When she is not in her studio, Victoria educates and advocates for inner-city youth to pursue their education. She continues to study to master her art fundamentals while pursuing other creative passion projects.
